Refurbished in the winter of 1999 The St Mawes Hotel is situated but a stone throw away from the waters edge in the delightful village of St Mawes ,Cornwall . Although we call it a Hotel we like to think of ourselves as more of a bar with rooms, so not to disappoint those who seek to find traditional hotel accommodation.
A friendly welcome is offered to all our customers ,be it hotel guests or members of the public that frequent our bars or restaurant.
The hub of the hotel is our 2 Café bars. The ground floor bar that opens out onto the street in the summer, that lends a feeling that you could be on the French Rivera rather than in the UK, to our first floor breakfast lounge and restaurant, which includes another bar and offers further seating for diners as well as a balcony to make the most of superb views of St Mawes, the harbour and the Fal estuary.
As well as being frequent hosts of local bands and artists throughout the year we are hosts for number of outside events including St Mawes Shoreside regatta which is now one of the highlights of Falmouth week and the St Mawes Summer calendar. Our affiliation as the franchisees of St Mawes Sailing Club see us play host to a number of Sailing events and social evenings outside bars and BBQ.
The St Mawes Hotel has an extensive bar that stocks a variety if New and Old world wines and of course a large selection of draught Lagers, Local ciders and Skinners Cornish real ales. We have a large array of soft drinks as well as freshly prepared fair trade teas and Coffees light bights and nibbles that are available from 9am through to midnight seven days a week . Free Wireless internet connection is also available to all customers and for those wishing to step away from the tranquility of St Mawes , and back in to the Hustle and bustle of the real world.
