Eat, drink and be happy
It's a Moules Bar and - although it's the only one you'll find in the south west - it's plenty more besides.
First things first: all the mussels we cook fresh are local, which means anything from a few hundred yards to a few miles away. They all end up, firstly, in the expert hands of our experienced chef and, secondly, set before you in steaming mussels pots. Besides Moules Marinieres and Moules Frites, there are at least a dozen other ways to enjoy them, including Thai style or, closer to home, with Saffron and Cider. In the snugness of the woodburner-warmed winter bar, or alfresco, with an uninterrupted view of the horizon, our moules match the moment and taste, unmistakeably, of Cornwall.

To eat
We're about much more than Moules: our chef's on the quayside every day to pick the best fish, and whatever he chooses is the day's fresh-cooked special. And aside from seafood, Cornwall has an amazing array of locally-grown and produced food - meat, dairy or deli - so whether it's the best local steaks, bacon and sausage, [or Cornish ice cream ] we make sure you get the freshest and best of everything, however and whenever you want it.
